Full control from raw material to finished product
Our fully integrated production facility consists of four main areas.
MIXING PLANT
With an annual rubber processing capacity of 10,000 tons and an experienced team, Nur Kauçuk meets both the compounds used in its own production and the demands coming from the sector. Many types of rubber raw materials are processed, in particular EPDM, Natural Rubber, SBR, NBR, BR, CR, Viton and Silicone. The four closed mixers in the mixing plant meet both black and colored compounding requirements; automatic filling and feeding systems ensure production in a clean and precise environment. Thanks to computer-controlled chemical and oven weighing sections, human errors are eliminated. Every compound produced is tested in accordance with the specifications and tolerances requested by the customer. To monitor compound quality, periodic tests are carried out in-house and, when necessary, at approved external laboratories.
PROFILE PRODUCTION
At our profile facility, vulcanization is carried out with a hot-air tunnel system. All products coming off the line are continuously measured by an automatic measuring machine in accordance with the tolerances defined by the customer. With cutting machines of various sizes and specifications, cutting can be performed both at the beginning of the line (inline) and in normal mode at very precise tolerances (+/- 0.1 mm). All font types requested by the customer can be printed onto the profile as desired with a digital writing machine. With the vulcanization welding machine, products are given their final shape in various forms and under high tension. Automatic winding machines are used to collect the products exiting the hot-air tunnel quickly and without deformation.
MOLD SHOP
All extrusion and injection molds to be used in product manufacturing are prepared by expert technical staff in our mold shop, which is equipped with lathes, milling machines, a CNC machining center, wire erosion, automatic surface grinders, drilling, welding and finishing materials.
LABORATORY
New recipes are prepared using various types of rubber and chemicals; these recipes are mixed in a laboratory-scale closed mixer. The resulting compounds are subjected to various static and mechanical tests before and after vulcanization, and their conformity to the desired properties is checked. As a European-standard rubber laboratory, Nur Kauçuk uses these capabilities for developing new compound recipes in line with different standards and customers' special requests, for raw material intake quality control, first product trials and mass production control.
